Welcome back to The Sauce Pod – we've got a loaded episode this week.

BlueSky, the decentralized Twitter alternative backed by Jack Dorsey, is taking off as it enters the first phase of beta testing and reached its first 55,000 new users over the weekend.

Over on Twitter, the blue checkmark saga continues, and now verified accounts are being prioritized. Meanwhile, Meta's Twitter-competitor app (code name: Barcelona) is on the horizon.

Over on Instagram, they're taking inspiration from TikTok once again with a new feature, and TikTok is releasing an AI avatar effect. Snapchat's AI chatbot is causing a stir with negative reviews flooding the app store. And on Reddit, chat channels are creeping into Discord and Telegram territory.

Plus, a new study: AI can make you more productive at work. But don't forget, it also opens the floodgates for scammers.
